Swimming pool gunite is the stage where the pool starts to really take form. This is also where the homeowner is required to get involved in the actual construction of their swimming pool. Once the swimming pool gunite has been installed, the homeowner needs to help by hosing down the pool gunite with water. This helps in the curing process of the gunite (concrete). Jim will instruct you in the amount and proper procedures in accomplishing this very necessary task. But don’t worry, this is really easy and only takes a few minutes to complete.

The gunite crew arrived very early in the morning and is setting up for today’s shoot. Jim Chandler also is there to convey last minute details with the owners of Rustic Rock Resort.
Jim spends the day at the job site making sure all the engineering and special details are conveyed to the crew and carried out. The crew is one of the best in the Northern California area and they worked relentlessly carving and shaping the pool with highly artistic talent.
Today it looks like a swimming pool!
Now the owners will have to water cure the gunite for around 10 days. The tile crew will be scheduled next.
